Many patients visit our Toledo dentist office looking for solutions to help with straightening their crooked or misaligned teeth. Crooked teeth cause more than just cosmetic dental concerns. In fact, they can impact the functionality of your smile when it comes to performing daily tasks such as chewing or speaking properly. Our office is proud to offer Invisalign services to help patients with these mild to moderate orthodontic concerns. Invisalign is clear braces system that allows patients to straighten their teeth discreetly, without the use of traditional metal orthodontic appliances.
Achieve Your Dream Smile in Toledo
Hires Dental Care in Toledo offers Invisalign®, the number one patient requested clear braces system in the United States. Invisalign utilizes a custom set of invisible aligners that provide patients with straighter and healthier smiles over time. As your wear the aligners, they will begin to apply pressure to your dental structures and encourage them to shift into a straighter position. Invisalign is the “clear choice” for patients needing mild to moderate orthodontia for both cosmetic and dental health concerns.
Benefits of Invisalign
Invisalign offers a wide range of benefits compared to traditional orthodontic solutions like braces. With traditional braces, patients would have to adapt to several lifestyle changes while undergoing treatment. For example, with metal braces, the hardware is firmly secured to your dental structures throughout the duration of your treatment. Some patients have braces for many years, which means they will need to adapt to these lifestyle changes for just as long. Lifestyle changes with traditional braces include dietary restrictions and extra steps in your oral hygiene routine to maintain the orthodontic hardware.
With Invisalign, patients don’t have to worry about these major lifestyle changes. Invisalign is removable, meaning you can eat, drink, and brush your teeth without having to work around metal hardware. As long as you wear your aligners an average of 20-22 hours a day, your treatment plan will progress as intended. Additionally, Invisalign is invisible, meaning patients get to maintain their current smile aesthetics while still bettering their smile. No one should be able to tell that you are undergoing orthodontic treatment with Invisalign unless you remove the aligners in front of them.
Patients should keep in mind that there are some orthodontic concerns that may require more extensive treatment than Invisalign can offer. Invisalign can effectively treat a wide range of dental concerns, including:
- Crowded teeth
- Gapped teeth
A consultation with a professional dentist is required to determine if you are a good candidate for Invisalign treatment. During your consultation, your dentist will evaluate the health of your teeth, gums, and jawbone to ensure they are healthy enough to undergo orthodontic treatment.

Invisalign offers quick, easy and hassle free treatment for patients.
The first step to Invisalign therapy involves taking a mold of your mouth. This mold is sent through specialized Invisalign software to determine how your teeth should look after Invisalign treatment. This virtual model will show you a three-dimensional image of your teeth. You can watch each step of the treatment plan, tracking your teeth’s movements with each set of aligners. If you decide to move forward with Invisalign treatment, we will send the files to the Invisalign laboratory that will then generate several sets of clear plastic aligners.
You will return to our Toledo office to obtain your first set of aligners that should fit seamlessly and then return every 2 weeks for your next set. While the aligners should be removed for eating and cleaning your teeth, you should wear your aligners most of the day (23 hours a day is suggested).
The cost of Invisalign invisible braces depends on the individual treatment. Factors that determine pricing include the number of setups and aligners needed to achieve the desired straightening results. When compared to traditional metal braces, Invisalign is typically less expensive.
